The Photography of Gian Paolo Barbieri

I really want one of his photo books badly..depicting this late 60′s early 70′s phase… It’s pretty incredible. Here’s some photos I pulled from a blog In Italian..

Yeah, it’s a little girly, but somewhere I see the artistry….
Upon closer inspection these look like paintings…( I just looked her up..she’s a famous Japanese illustrator from the 70′s with a large cult following. She was also an actress and a singer and is in her 80′s now.)
