tminx loves the women of Busby Berkeley


I love watching these old films. They make me long for a past i’ve never experienced. When ladies were “dames” and men were men. Yes it sounds a little sexist, but even the most smartest of women couldn’t resist the lure of Busby’s dazzling choreographed sequences.
Some of my favorites are “The Gold Diggers of 1933” and “The Gold Diggers of 1935.”
He used a lot of the same girls like Ruby Keeler and Joan Blondell.
